Do people really talk like that? The story is about the Gallo family, an Italian American family who are very rich because they own a vineyard in Italy but choose to show their creative side and common man roots by all working in a tattoo shop they own. By a coincidence, three of the five siblings are brilliant tattoo artists and one other does piercing (ouch) and is a professional fighter. The sixth is an undercover cop, deep cover. They talk constantly about sex. All the time, very descriptively and so graphically I found myself a bit breathless. They all like sex, and have a lot of it but when they find a partner who is as great in bed as they demand they fall in love. It is all very sweet, Ma Gallo wants grandchildren and makes great pasta, and when they get together for dinner every Sunday the men watch football, and they talk about sex, women, and stuff I cannot copy and paste or Amazon would reject this review. And Ma and Pa pretend they don't hear. It is strangely compelling but you wonder if they ever read a book, a newspaper, have an opinion on anything outside of the all consuming world of their genitalia.Product details

Men of Inked Books 13 edition by Chelle Bliss Romance eBooks Reviews
This was my first series of Ms. Bliss. I almost stopped reading at 4% but for some reason I didn't stop to examine at the time, I kept reading.
The writing got somewhat better and so did the stories.
The biggest problem I had was all the passive writing. I didn't count but I wouldn't be surprised to discover that Ms. Bliss used the word "as" more than 100 times in these books. And each time was because she'd written a passive sentence.
Stories should move you, make you sweat with the action, make you jittery and painting. With passive sentences it's as if your going to reach the climax, but then it just falls away. It's as bad as being TOLD a story instead of being SHOWED a story.
I hope that Ms. Bliss has lost some of the passivity over time. I actually want to read the next books in the series because I've come to care about these characters. That's saying something.
So I'm going to try the next book and see had James, Izzy, and Thomas make out.
Well, since this is a bundle book- this review encompasses all 3 books. (Sorry, but I don't recall everyone's name. Ill try my best to give an accurate account)
Book 1- Throttle Men- this is the book that started it all. I enjoyed City (hate this name) and Suzy (hate this name too) getting together and having some hot sensual fun. City has the capacity to show Suzy how to be more uninhibited, even if it got her in trouble. I enjoyed her get togethers with her best friend and her husband. They were funny and very protective of her. City has a close knit Italian family so we will learn more about him and his brothers and sister soon enough. Great book- a lovely twist and a great introduction to the other siblings.
Book 2 (Michael and Mia)- This was another great book. Michael is the fighter in the group and meets Mia the first time via the ER..after meeting up again months later, the sparks are still there and their connection is smoking. The only issue is, Michael has a stalker who insists on making him hers. What I hated about this story is Mia is a Dr. and works at the same hospital that Michael's stalker works at..why he doesn't tell her about his ex, I;ll never understand. You knew this was going to blow up in his face, and it does. Ugh! The storyline had a lot of juice, but it just fell flat. There was no exciting moment or ending this stalker issue. It was a bit of a let down. Otherwise, Mia and Michael's story was good.
Book 2.5 (Suzy and City- wedding)- this was a cute short. It revolved around Suzy and City's wedding. It was set up to introduce us to a new character who will play a part in Izzy (City's sister) life. I don't recall City being an ass and in this one, he was a controlling ass with no regard to Suzy and her feelings. It wasn't necessary but nonetheless, he was an ass. Suzy and City tie the knot and we prepare for more news for this italian family.
Book 3- (Izzy and James)- Well this was a disappointment. Izzy was a ball buster. I get it from the other books, but geese..she wants a penis so bad. I mean, with the exception of sex, you never got the impression she was female at all. She is attract to James and is put off at the same time because he's the one man EVER who doesn't take her crap and calls her on it. If she said "He's bossy" one more time I was going to scream and hunt her down to slap her myself (sorry- I digress). Anyway- she became more and more of a pain throughout the entire book. We had another opportunity for a meaty storyline, but again, it was closed too quickly to be satisfying. James is a dominant and the too of them together are exhausting. In the end, we get in touch with another brother and Izzy finally gets her man, even of she never wants to admit it.
All in all, the books are good, but I feel we could have done so much more with the story lines she introduced. I find it difficult to move forward to the other stories because I have no excitement for the pending storyline..but unfortunately I am already new deep in the story so I will continue. Next up is Thomas' story.
Izzy and James ended on a heart stopping CLIFFHANGER and Chelle Bliss went on my DNB list. I'm so tired of this. In my opinion she's not that great a writer anyway. Sex scenes are too long and the choreography doesn't always work. The editing is a little sloppy. The carryover plot doesn't have enough detail and the dialogue between H and h is too repetitive. Except for these issues it was a three star.
